Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage received exciting news last week when it was renewed for Season 2.

The Young Sheldon spinoff has resonated with viewers and has been a robust performer in the ratings.

Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 1 Episode 12, set to air this evening on CBS, finds Georgie facing quite the predicament.

He’s been sent home from work with a cold and feels like he’s letting his family down.

TV Fanatic scored an exclusive clip that showcases a comical scene from the sure-to-be-hilarious episode.

Upon returning home, Georgie makes a beeline to the refrigerator to get some orange juice, believing that will sort him out.

However, Connor catches him in the act drinking from the bottle and pleads with him not to put the bottle back in the refrigerator.

The last thing the family needs is for everyone to wind up sick.

Georgie Needs Some Assistance on Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage

Connor springs into action to take Georgie under his wing, ensuring he’s fighting fit, and asks some questions about his symptoms.

Georgie is pretty open for someone who’s sick, and Connor recommends a hot, steamy shower to break up the congestion.

He also has a hilarious throwback to The Golden Girls on hand. Check out the clip below.

The episode will also touch upon Mandy’s feelings about how her career will affect her marriage.

Throughout Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 1, we’ve watched the two titular characters discuss many of their issues.

It has allowed them to build upon the already solid foundation holding up their relationship, and we hope it bodes well for the future.

Something tells me that Georgie’s issues about staying home and Mandy’s concerns about her career path will intersect, and they’ll talk through it like adults.

We still have quite a few episodes to go before we reach the season finale, but it’s always good to know another season is in the cards.
