TV Ratings: #OneChicago Scores Crossover Boost as Riverdale Slumps 50%

The only was up for the #OneChicago franchise on Wednesday night. 

The latest crossover resulted in bumper ratings, with the three-hour extravaganza averaging 8.5 million viewers and a 1.4 rating. 

Chicago Fire started things off with 8.1 million total viewers and a 1.3 rating, hitting its best numbers in a year.

 

Chicago Med followed with 8.8 million total viewers and a 1.4 rating, scaring up its best numbers in over 18 months. 

Chicago P.D. closed things off with 9 million total viewers (!) and a 1.6 rating, its best numbers in over 3 years.

It was a successful night for this franchise!

Over on The CW, Riverdale came down to 832,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating. This was erosion of 27% in viewers and 50% in the demo. This matches the lowest demo rating ever for the series.

Nancy Drew was also on the down side, coming in at 814,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating, but it did have healthy retention from Riverdale.

Over on FOX, The Masked Singer inched up a tenth to 7.2 million total viewers and a 2.1 rating. 

Almost Family remained stable at 2.5 million viewers and a 0.7 rating, but we need to remember that the series is shedding over 66% of its lead-in. 

Ovr on CBS, Survivor bounced back to 6.8 million total viewers and a 1.4 rating. SEAL Team was also on the plus side, coming in at 4.5 million viewers and a 0.7 rating. 

Unfortunately, SWAT was down to new lows, with 3.6 million viewers and a 0.5 rating. 

Over on ABC, Schooled (3.4 million/0.8 rating) and Modern Family (4.2 million/1.0 rating) were each up a tenth. 

The Goldbergs (4.2 million/1.0 rating), Single Parents (2.8 millio/0.7 rating), and Stumptown (2.8 million/0.6 rating) were all even with last week.
