If there’s one thing I hate after a terrible season, it’s a finale that doesn’t make me want to watch the next season.
The Traitors Season 3 Episode 11 said goodbye to Scotland and some of the worst contestants to grace the screen yet, and I’m pretty happy to see the back of it.
The Traitors Season 3 was brimming with potential initially, but Alan’s choice in Traitors set the series up for disaster.

If anything, it’s a lesson that too many big personalities in the Turret are a recipe for disaster because without the civil war amongst the Traitors, the end result would have been far more enjoyable.
While I firmly believe much of the season was a non-event, I was gagged that something good actually came from the cliffhanger at the end of The Traitors Season 3 Episode 10.

Danielle was tired of maintaining her role as the most faithful cast member, and her exit added a little bit of uncertainty about what came next.
The best part is that Britney pulled off the move after seemingly confusing Dolores’s communication to her as they were voting.
Did Britney Plan to Betray Danielle on The Traitors?

Britney threw Danielle under the bus on Big Brother: Reindeer Games, and they worked through their issues earlier this season, so I can see why Danielle felt slighted.
If I were in her position, a little voice at the back of my head would bellow that Britney planned this all along, and it seemed that Danielle thought as much.

If Danielle emerged with the win over Ivar at the round table, she would have been the next person out, so would it have been worth keeping her around? I think not.
Danielle’s exit allowed Britney to get crafty in pulling the wool over the rest of the competitors’ eyes.
Had she been this activated all season long, she would have been banished sooner. There’s no question about that.
Britney’s game overall is super underrated because she tried so desperately to fly under the radar initially and managed to evade any speculation as a result.

Only when she got close to Danielle again did people grow suspicious. But given how she was seemingly earmarked for banishment a few episodes ago, she staged a miraculous comeback.
Had she had her back against the wall a bit earlier in the season, she might have solidified herself as the season’s breakout star.

Britney utilized everything she’d learned about her time on reality TV to formulate the best plan to secure her success. It was brilliant because she thought a few steps ahead.
She hook, line, and sinkered Dylan in the round table, proving what a force she was at social games. She knew the only chance to succeed would be taking out Dylan.

But in hindsight, I can’t shake the feeling that Ivar may have been the better pick because Dolores would have followed suit.
Dolores spent the entire season making random votes that didn’t benefit the game, so the least she could have done was to remain consistent in the finale.
Taking Ivar out at that final roundtable would have left so much more up in the air as the rest of the cast headed out to decide whether to end the game.
The endgame was pretty hollow because all of the prominent personalities were gone, but it was intriguing that Dylan had the rug pulled from under him by Britney.

He never anticipated it, and she knocked the wind out of him. In the end, we don’t always have to agree with how these shows conclude, but somehow, I kept expecting the other shoe to drop and a miraculous twist to shake things up.
The Traitors Has Lost Its Way
The Seer was another ludicrous decision from the creatives. The game’s purpose is for the Faithful to be in the dark about the Traitors until they reveal themselves after being banished or at the end of the game.

Giving the Faithful so much power ultimately diminishes the game. The only silver lining is that Britney won it because, as a Traitor, it was rendered useless.
Dylan, Dolores, Ivar, and Gabby’s decision to end the game and split the $200,000 cash prize was par for the course, considering how disappointing the rest of the season has been.

While I’m glad they get to share the money, how did Dolores earn that? The other three were put through the wringer to reach the endgame, and Dolores just sat by and burned votes.
All I’ll say is that the reunion had better deliver because producers need to consider bringing in civilians for future seasons to make it worthwhile.
The Traitors Season 3 could have been saved with fewer fiery personalities in the Turret, and perhaps the season would have featured more well-rounded storylines.
The last few episodes have felt like producers have been trying to restore the show to its former glory because it veered too far off course.
