If there’s one thing 9-1-1 knows how to do, it’s produce an EPIC multi-part disaster story that rivals any motion picture you could see on the big screen.
9-1-1 Season 8 started with a bee-nado, and now they’re poised to raise the stakes even further with their latest disaster adventure.
Lucky for you, TV Fanatic has your first look at 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 14, which will start the thrilling two-parter.

When we spoke to showrunner Tim Minear after 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 11, he teased what we could look forward to as the season continued, sharing with us, “… 14 and 15 are a banger of a two-parter.”
And that certainly is the case, judging by this expansive first look.

9-1-1 has never shied away from going big, and that trend has shown no signs of slowing down over the years.
Nothing is off limits, from tsunamis to earthquakes to mudslides to cyber-attacks and everything in between. And now, we’re looking at a contagion.
They will always push the envelope, and that ambition has made it one of the most popular television series!
This season alone has been top-tier, especially the second half.
The series waded into darker waters during 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 10, with Maddie and Athena on the hunt for a serial killer.
This ultimately led to Maddie’s abduction during 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 11, which saw the pregnant mom get her throat slashed before Athena killed her attacker, Detective Amber Braeburn.

It was an extremely dark and emotional storyline, but it was further proof of the series’ willingness to tell all kinds of stories.
This half has also seen Eddie Diaz leave the 118 (again), though instead of taking another job in town, he packed up and moved to Texas to reunite with his son Christopher, who left Los Angeles at the end of 9-1-1 Season 7.

9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 13 was a beautiful hour that showcased the bond between father and son and will hopefully set them up to return to Los Angeles soon.
At least, that’s what fans are clamoring for.

But that Los Angeles dream scenario may have to wait, as the upcoming hours will see the city in a dangerous place.
It’s good that the 118 will be there to help save the day, though they will need all hands on deck for a disaster of this size.
As previously stated, 9-1-1 typically excels at these large-scale emergencies, and this looks to be another great one.
Check out the first look above, and then let us know in the comments what you’re looking forward to seeing in the two-part event!
