Someone needs to remind Will to play nice with others.

However, that’s easier said than done when the others are new lifeguards who have a thing for the love of your life.

Rescue: HI-Surf Season 1 Episode 15 introduces a new lifeguard, Vince, and as you’ll see in this clip exclusive to TV Fanatic, he does very little to endear himself to Will.

We all know that Will and Em are still on shaky terms and very much broken up.

However, that does not mean Will’s interested in helping anyone shoot their shot with his ex/best friend.

Will gave up his right to Em’s heart the minute he broke it off.

That’s not to say he stopped caring about her. Or even loving her, for that matter.

Vince doesn’t exactly make the best first impression on Will or Laka, for that matter.

The two District 7 veterans are much more laidback than the chatty Vince seems to be.

Will is generally a very chill guy, but there’s one button you should avoid around him.

And that button is Em.

Considering the day seems to be just beginning as the three take cover in their tower, it may be a long day for the pair, who will find themselves dealing with a fraternity pledge and a rowdy beach.

Hazing in 2025? And on the beach?!

This has disaster written all over it.

A bunch of young people out drinking on the water can’t possibly lead to anything good.

Elsewhere during this hour, we’ll see a rescue of two missing teenagers, and Em’s estranged mother comes to town, surprising Em.

We know little about Em’s past, especially regarding her family and home life, but her mother’s appearance on top of everything happening with Will has to be a lot to handle.

Will and Em still haven’t spoken extensively since the breakup.

You have to wonder if they’ll ever get around to having the talk they really need to have if Em is now dealing with her mom.

It’s been a long, long few months for Em with her personal life imploding and everything that happened with her almost becoming captain, and the hits don’t seem to stop coming.

She’ll likely need a friend more than ever right now, and in the past, the person she would turn to would be Will.

Will he still be there for her now after everything that’s happened?

We’ll have to see if the former flames can finally find some peace.

We will have to wait to see what happens next between the pair.
