Meanwhile, Emily and Lopez were torn between civil laws and the laws of a higher power when it seemed they were supposed to send a nun with a shady past to jail.

However, the women was charged with an act against the church that she believed was morally right. 

Elsewhere, Emily and Luke had to make a decision about their future as friends or lovers.
