Will Trent Season 3 Episode 6 Spoilers: Two Killers Are a Step Ahead

While Will investigates a murder, Michael discovers a crime similar to an old murder and rape in Will Trent Season 3 Episode 6. Check out the details.

The post Will Trent Season 3 Episode 6 Spoilers: Two Killers Are a Step Ahead appeared first on TV Fanatic.

This has been the best season of Will Trent, and each episode gets even better.

Spoilers for Will Trent Season 3 Episode 6 indicate that Will investigates a murder with a familiar pattern, forcing him to confront his past and that the killer stays a step ahead of them.

It also looks like the second case will be a serious one since Michael and Angie find a victim with her tongue missing, similar to John Shelley’s last victim 20 years ago.

We enjoyed how the series lightened the arcs up a bit, but they have gone darker again. Additional spoilers tease that Marion and Will become closer, and those scenes have the potential to be light and flirtatious.

Finally, Federico Rodriguez guest stars in this episode. He is not related to Ramon Rodriquez or Gina Rodriguez but will interact with both of them.

Rafael Wexford Returns and Likely Causes More Trouble for Will

The main spoilers indicate that someone is always one step ahead of Will as he investigates a murder. As the case unfolds, Will suspects the case is more personal than he thought.

Since Rafael Wexford returns in this installment, he or the Piedmont Kings are likely involved.

Will looked the other way in Will Trent Season 3 Episode 2, and he’s not likely to again, so things may become more complicated.

(Wilford Harewood/ Disney)

Ramon Rodriguez teased earlier that “Rafael keeps getting involved in criminal matters and getting in Will’s way in various cases. So, he has to confront it, and eventually, we get to what happened during their childhood.”

This episode also hints that Will must confront his past, so hopefully, we’ll learn more about his relationship with Rafael.

We don’t know much about that time after he aged out of foster care before he met Amanda.

Speaking of Amanda, Rafael’s return will also affect her guardianship of Sunny. Sunny is finally starting to adjust and heal. Will seeing her dad again set her progress back?

While Sunny needs her dad in her life, she also needs stability, as Rafael and Will know from their experiences.

(Zac Popik/Disney)

It’s been refreshing seeing Amanda parent a teenager, and it gives her character some layers, so hopefully, that does not end.

Michael and Angie Find Clues of a Violent Crime that Links to John

Every time a creepy new character gets introduced, they’re involved with Angie’s storyline. My poor girl can’t catch a break.

I had hoped we were done with that creepy handyman, but I felt nervous when his parole officer popped up at the end of Will Trent Season 3 Episode 5.

However, I thought he might stalk Angie and not commit another crime. Yikes.

Michael and Angie find a woman’s body with her tongue ripped out, which matches the same method John Shelley used years ago on his prom date.

(Wilford Harewood/ Disney)

We all know how Angie feels about sexual assault cases, and Michael has been extra protective of her lately, especially after she was locked in the shed with John in Will Trent Season 3 Episode 3.

While Angie knows John, that could work in the APD’s favor or their detriment. John is very volatile and determined not to return to prison.

He also seems personally offended that Angie doesn’t believe him when he insists he wouldn’t hurt anyone. That could put her in danger again as the two standoff, and he threatens to jump.

While I love Angie’s passion for sexual assault victims and these cases, hopefully, she and Michael will get some lighthearted cases again.

Will Trent has excelled with the partner dynamics this season, so this case should push Michael and Angie closer together.

Marion Flirts with With Will and Wants to Explore More in Their Relationship

Even Faith realizes that Will is ready to move on, and she encourages him to date Marion in the weekly promo.

It’sadorablee that the partners are back to being each other’s wingmen and that Faith knows Will needs a push.

Will and Marion may take the next step in their relationship since she teases she’s good at wearing men down, and Will invites her to dinner.

While I’m a massive fan of Will and Angie, I’m cautiously optimistic about Will and Marion since Will deserves a healthy romantic relationship that’s equal, fun, and flirty.

(Wilford Harewood/ Disney)

Hopefully, Marion doesn’t have many skeletons in her closet.

I’m a bit concerned that Federico Rodriguez might be playing her soon-to-be ex-husband since he’s only in spoiler photos with her or Will at the cafe.

That would be really awkward, but it could also be entertaining.

She’s already met Angie, so why not liven things up?

The series thrives when it incorporates witty humor and relationships with its serious cases, so perhaps the Will and Marion drama will provide that this time.
