A Jonas brother will soon be coaching emerging stars to success.
The esteemed singer and actor is joining The Voice for its spring cycle as a coach and will replace Adam Levine.
“As a member of one of the hottest pop groups, Nick’s success in navigating all aspects of the music industry is exceptional,” Meredith Ahr, president of alternative and reality group at NBC Entertainment, said in a statement confirming the news.
“We were so impressed by his innate musicality, technical aptitude and passion that he brought to Songland earlier this year and know he will be an incredible fit as a coach on The Voice."
"We are excited to see Nick lend his mentorship, relatability and breadth of knowledge to a new crop of artists.”

Added Jonas, “I’m so excited to be a part of The Voice family. It’s such an awesome group of individuals, and I can’t wait to help these artists really build and hone in to find their unique voices.”
Jonas joins a coaching group that already includes proven hitmakers Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton for the spring 2020 run.
The show is currently airing its fall run with a cast that includes Clarkson, Legend, Shelton, and Gwen Stefani.

The news comes months after Adam Levine bowed out of the series as a coach. Levine spent 16 seasons as a coach before exiting.
He opened up about his time on the show on The Ellen Degeneres Show Monday.
“I really do miss it. I loved the people that I met and worked with, and obviously, we all know how I feel about Blake [Shelton],” Levine said.
“I do miss it, but I also don’t miss how much I had to work. I was just constantly working for so many years."
"Very lucky, very fortunate, very blessed and all that. But to be able to stop in this moment to spend time with my new, young family and have the greatest time ever — now I’m just a stay-at-home dad. I stay home and do very little.”
As for Jonas, he is most well-known for being one-third of the Jonas Brothers. He has also had a successful solo career as well as an acting career.
